    Thanks guys, more updates to come soon. I'm hoping when all the textures are applied my system will actually be able to render it.

    Some updates, have added:

    * Segregation fences
    * Security Control Centre
    * Executive boxes between lower and upper tiers
    * Advertising boards in front of terracing
    * Some seating. As far as I can tell from my reference photos plus Google maps, the number of seats in the lower tier are identical to what was in the original stadium. In the upper tier I am about 5 seats out, but this may change as more internal structure is added. Have used instances for seats. In modeller I actually put the seats where they need to go, then created points for each seat for the instances. So far 5558 seats in place. Only another 31000 odd to go!!

    Some more updates, I wanted a break from modelling so I've started some of the texturing. Only texture maps applied for now, no bumps, diffuse or specular yet.

    Pic 1: Work underway on East Stand lower and upper terracing with some textures applied to various areas. Also started on patterned seat area.

    Pic 2: Jumbotron scoreboard textures created, lots more work in the fine detail still to do. Need to work out how to give the main scoreboard that "LED glow" look.

    The look of the reflective windows looks quite awful at the moment but they have nothing really to reflect at the moment so I suppose no surprise there.

    Thanks Michael. Sadly I'm a looong way from final results! Still it's all about enjoying the journey and learning new things along the way. Speaking of which... when working with instances is it possible to vary the object's colour? For the seats I want to add the subtlest of colour variation. I know I could add a procedural to the actual object's texture but that would still result in the same variation for each instance.

    Sure, add an instance info to your surface and then a gradient. Plug the Fixed Random into Gradient Input and then adjust the color. Put a screenshot up as well.
