    When's it out?

    6 mths?
    12 mths?
    24 mths?

Any chance of some ballpark figure?

If longer, any chance of a bug fix patch in the meantime?

    ...now flame away

Oh no, not another of these threads!

Given their proven track record in delivering software, I think it's safe to assume that next version of Lightwave will get canceled in 6 months time and we will get slightly patched v2018 while they'll start doing re-write to create the most impressive release ever that will give us the edge.

I think between 2 minutes to two years from now is a safe bet.

I saw a facebook post a couple of weeks ago from Lino Grandi being super happy about LW Next working hand in hand with Marmorset Toolbag. Not that that tells us anything .. but hey anything is better than nothing. Found it: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

Thank you for the post... It seems that maybe just a year and a half more of wait, before getting the LW NxT.
    It's not impossible, just unlikely.

Real time render engine and texture baker used for real time assets for game engines like Unreal or Unity. It's a nice app, picked it up a few months ago.

I think there are now more threads asking about a release date than there are about LW Next itself.
