Found my render of Growler in print ...

Worked on this render about 2011, was browsing a book a couple of weeks ago and found it there!

Not much of what I work on gets released for public viewing, and even with this I had to ask for permission ...
... but here it is :-)

It's a conceptual render of the RAAF EA-18G "Growler", all Lightwave, with the background done in Terragen.

    Congratulations!

Always nice to see your work in print. Nice render too, and considering it's 6 years old too, still holds up very nicely indeed, looks like a photo.

Thanks guys, there are more of these works online, I'm in the process of seeking permission to be allowed to point them out here ...
... or you could swing by my desk at work and show heaps more :-)

I Googled "raaf ea-18g growler" earler and the render seems to be hitting top spot, which professionally feels pretty cool. Hopefully I'll hear back shortly about posting some more work, but I'm not holding my breath ...

I get that with "Derbyshire Redcap" - but it's not exactly the same thing Some toe-rag in Russia nicked the photo, but what can you do about it

    Superb work. Congratulations.

I Google'd "raaf ea-18g growler" like you said and found that the image is being used by the Royal Australian Air Force.

And when I do a Google "reverse image search" (go to images.google.com, press the camera button, and upload a copy of the image) there are dozens of sites using the growler image. See the attached image with a few of the links. Note the image even shows up on Pinterest.

By the way, Google's "reverse image search" is a handy way for any artist to see who is "borrowing" their artwork.

Thanks Precedia, yes been aware of a whole heap of sites using the image, but all good on the permissions side of things - these get released via media packs from the company every now and then ...

There's some more of these renders "our there", just can't point them out (permission thing) at this time :-)
