Thank you fellows for another great blog.
ANYTHING which improves/simplifies/quickens the export/compositing part of the process is very warmly received from my point of view. I've been needing to put more time into this aspect of production for ages.
The new render engine looks like it has many benefits... one of them being a kick up my ***

edit: Oh, I've been censored! Well I didn't know that happened. I guess I must be pretty well manored as a whole haha.

Whoah... Newtek are doing it again, great blogs!

I do like this form of monthly communication, I feel like it's bringing all us forum folk back together in a new, happy way

That Godzilla dude is a lovely model, great choice to showcase the new renderer!

I might have missed it, but is there any link to splitting out objects for passes easier with this new Buffer Setup?

Looks great. Was wondering if as part of this there is/will be an overhaul of the curernt approach to mattes to make generating different matte passes easier?

I think it would be nice to have a reminder of the buffer you are previewing, near the VPR text.
    Just like this mockup:

But anyway, very good job LWG!

Looks fantastic! Though same Q: Does it support break out of multiple materials, object visibility, a scene states for all in Lightwave? So we can have a Beauty Pass, Different masking passes, multiple surface passes for one or more items?

Man I'm so freaking happy, GREAT WORK!

    Just like this mockup:
I'd opt for even better: move the render buffer submenu to its own menu.

And in case you missed it, here are the buffers that seam to now be at our disposal:

Yes you did. You can open a floating viewport in LightWave Next.

One thing at time! This is something that's not going to happen in the next release, but we take your precious suggestion as a "must do".

That's how we call the next version "internally".
