I've finally taken my vt[4] system down for a much need PM and upgrade.

There's a part of me that wants to say: "Just move on to the current generation" and that makes logical sense, the current generation of Software/Hardware is very reasonably priced. The 'Bang for the Buck' is rather amazing to me.

But there is a part of me that wants to bring the system up to its best before putting it in the back corner of the office.

The problem is that the distributor I bought the VT[4] from wants to charge pretty much full retail for the vt[4] to vt[5] upgrade. $1449.99 seems to be rather extreme for piece of hardware that's reached "End of Life" about a year ago.

So the question is; "Anybody out there have a spare vt[5] distribution that they would like to part with?"
