As a extension to a live streaming site...
There is a cool new service called StationCreator (www.stationcreator.com) that provides a framework for organizing web videos into a scheduled playlist and then sequencing the videos at specific times. It works with live video streams, allowing you to switch to your live events, but fill in the time before with relevant lead-up videos and the time after with replays or other related videos. Commercials can be scheduled in the play stream for monetization...
I know the CEO from an older web show he produced called WallStrip (bought by CBS a few years ago), and he is looking at this as just the first step in the functionality he envisions for the product. I have no commercial interest in the company or product - just felt it might be a good fit for some people here.
I wrote up a little bit about it here. If you have any questions just let me know and I'll try to get you answers...

Thanks John.
I had actually been searching for such an animal. Livestream allow you to sequence your videos, but not schedule. This looks great.
