    Looks good..but what are its advantages over the stl exporter built into lw?

    Of course, my original issue was getting to step for going to cnc machines. stl export from lw is pretty stable for me.

    Yep, right now, my only concern is converting...

    Yep, right now, my only concern is converting stl, etc into step. The dimensions were retained according to my client..so for now its good.

    found FreeCad and it works fine..easy to use too...

    found FreeCad and it works fine..easy to use too and the step files wroked. Free and isnt a cloud based app either.

    The advantage with GoZ is immediate...

    The advantage with GoZ is immediate interchange...no need to export, then import into lw and hope the fbx scale is correct. It's just a matter (in my case) of getting used to the way zbrush handles...
