Purchased! This tutorial will supplement and extend the very thorough Nodal tutorial by Rebelhill that some do not seem to be aware of:
Congrats! Hendersonville, NC is not too far away from where I live in GA. Beautiful area ... I'm sure you've visited Carl Sanburg's home.
LW Bonzai edition ... it's do or die and the best plugins are from Japan.
Silo3d has had a very robust Cut Tool for years. It's too bad it's not really being developed much these days. Also NVil's Cut Tool is very robust.
Also of note, if you're only rigging bipeds, then Rhiggit Lite is all you need for about $18.62 USD ($15 British Pounds). I personally prefer to rig in Layout using Rhiggit as I don't really care for...

I'm still plodding through both the Rhiggit 2 tutorial videos (50 of them and counting) as well as the paid Rigging 2 tutorials (to learn how to rig from scratch). These are essential to learning how...
The number one issue for newcomers trying to rig in Lightwave is the concept of 'resting' bones. In messiah, for example, the "Setup" tab is where you would layout the bones and do all the rigging,...
If the LWG could make LW as snappy as messiah, then we'd be in very good shape.
And then there's Tom Roth's Course on Character Animation (in LW):
Good to know! Thanks Andrew.
It seems I need to be aware of the color space before creating a new scene. I'm not sure how it changed the first time - very odd. But everything seems to be going well as I put LW 2015.1 through...
It's nice to have more options to animate within Lightwave. I'll be sure to update.
