Updating

Not sure what you mean... There are a number of updates to DVD Workshop 2, the full retail version.

If you're talking about the DVD Workshop 2 SE version that comes free with VT, I don't know if there are any updates for that version.
 
I have downloaded and installed "DVD Workshop 2.0 Update Pack (Build Number: 2.231, Release Date: 2004/10/06)". Don't install any of the other updates as they're not compatible with the SE version supplied by NewTek.

What I really want to know is that do I need to update before I can burn Dual Layer DVDs or can it burn them as is if I have a dual layer burner?
