Spark and Mac

I know that a few people have noticed this, but the HX driver for Spark seems to be having problems on Mac systems. Of course all of our development systems work perfectly, but we have now reproduced this and will have an HX driver patch very very soon that resolves this. The problem is simply related to finding the correct dynamic link libraries.

Just a quick note to let all know that the issue with the OS X version of the NDI|HX driver has been resolved, and the download has been replaced.

Mac users should be able to download the fixed build this afternoon (allowing an hour or two for the change to propagate through our CDNs servers). We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and want to thank any who were affected for their patience (if anyone continues to have trouble, please let us know!)

Nope, its a NO GO as of 6:17PM EST. Still the same.
 
Its possible that our CDN has not propagated all Data centers with the new file. Check your PM box.



We have confirmed that our CDN has the latest NDI HX Mac drivers across all of their Data Centers.

Kane tested the latest HX Mac Driver today along with the new NDI version 3.0 compatible Sienna NDI Monitor for Mac, and it worked fine with a Connect Spark.

Note that earlier versions of Sienna NDI Monitor wont recognise HX devices, and this includes the current version in the Mac App store.

At present Sandboxed apps are not compatible with loading the HX driver, so you will need non-sandboxed app versions.

For the free Sienna NDI Tools for Mac, there are new versions (including the v3.0 Monitor for HX) available from the usual link:

Zane, did you mean to say that "it is possible that our CDN has not propagated all data centers with the new file"? That would seem to be the case if anyone is not seeing the new file yet despite the fact that we've uploaded and removed the previous version. That can take time to propagate through all of the server centers.
