MediaDS Encode Profile

Where can I find the encode profiles config. file for MediaDS? Currently, when I create a custom (encode/stream) profile, and restart the MediaDS application, the custom settings are lost. Is there a way to append the encode settings in a config file so that the settings are not lost?
