Atomic VFX is a visual effects house based in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialise in integrating photorealistic cg with live action to create seamless visual effects.
We are looking to grow our company in South Africa and also expand to Dubai. To do this we are going to need to find talented, passionate artists to add to our current team.
We are only interested in people who have already had at least two years work experience in the industry. However, if you don't have the work experience, but you believe that you really are special – and be honest with yourself – then send us your reel and we will consider it.
All arrangements necessary to facilitate your move to Cape Town or Dubai will be dealt with by us, this includes accommodation and visas.
Requirements:
*We need people who are effective communicators, self-driven, work well in a team and are used to using their own initiative.
*At least 2 yrs experience in a production environment using Lightwave.
*Intermediate to high level of experience in all aspects of 3D – from storyboarding, to modeling, texturing, animating, lighting, dynamics and camera work. Specialists are also very welcome!
*Intermediate to high level of understanding of all aspects of 3D visual effects and experience in creating photorealistic work. Good understanding of animation pipelines also essential.
