Convert old RTV files without a VT?

m4a2000

Once more into the CPU!
Figured this is the bets place for this question. I'm FINALLY cleaning my archives and stumbled on some old RTV files. VLC won't play them and neither will Media Player Classic. Premiere doesn't like them either. I am doing this on a system that has NDI and old NewTek codec packs installed and still no playback.

Finally I tried good old FFMPEG... No dice. I haven't tried throwing them into my current TriCaster, a 410+, but that is next. Before I do that any ideas on how I can get them into a usable format?

Use a PC with an operating system from the time when these files were created..
i.e. WinXP is from 2001+ (the most likely you had it in 2002+)
on VirtualBox..
with software from that age..

Tried VirtualDub v1.0?

Tried VirtualDub v2.0?

Tried AlShow?

"RTV files mostly belong to NewTek Products by NewTek. The RTV File Format is NewTek's proprietary format for real-time uncompressed D1 video."

If it is RAW file format, you can try anything which loads RAW data..
(eventually after cutting the header and other unneeded stuff)

Use Hex Editor to open it to see whether it is header + raw data, or raw data frame-by-frame, or something else.
