Can SE pre-conform rendered audio files?

Is it possible to put a check box on the render panel that allows video or audio files to conform during the rendering process? This would provide an option to conform as a part of the rendering process or, when left un-checked, the file would conform when placed on the timeline. When “conform during rendering?” is checked, it would eliminate waiting for audio to conform when starting to work with such rendered files on the timeline.
