Hello,
I am animating an array of antenna dishes. Currently, I rig up one dish with all the animation controls I need (target tracking, following, etc) and then I use the clone command to clone the dish. The problem is that the dish is made up of 4 parts which are in a heirarchy (so for example, moving the base of the antenna moves all the other parts). When I clone the parts, the heirarchy information is lost, so I have to re parent everything. This is time consuming for many dishes (100 or more), especially because the Scene Editor seems fairly buggy when using the drag and drop parenting. Is there a better way to do this? Some way to clone a group of objects and have them maintain their parenting information?
Thanks,
Glenn
