Sony EVI D100's

Hey guys,

We're considering using these PTZ cams in conjunction with manned Sony V1P's for our webcasting. Using the Tricaster plugin will just be magic - Has anyone had any experience with doing this? Do the cameras match, and has anyone got some demo footage from mixing these cameras.

We use the D70s at our church. The plugin would be a less expensive way to control them, but we went with the hardware controller, as with a single operator, having that hardware button within reach to switch camera presets, or joystick to manually reposition a camera seemed faster than mouse-clicking controls.

What did you end up going with and are you happy with the EVID 100 I am curious on how good the video is from these units. I have never seen recorded video from one. Also how far from the subject are you?
