So we should have a thread that gets recycled with every new plug-in port or release. This would make it easier for newbies and the rest of us to track what is available.

yeah...that would be a good idea...and make it a sticky thread at the top...or even an entire section unto itself.

I know most of us use flay for this, but sometimes news travels faster than flay can post.

sorry if i caused any confusion.:D

nah, don't be sorry--I'd rather have the news as soon as it's worthy to print.

I have to add that David Ikeda is the nicest guy to-boot. I had the pleasure of trading a few e-mails with him. He is earnestly interested in the Mac platform and enjoys the feedback he gets. If you you like his plugs, be sure to drop him a line.

Newtek, Chuck, et-all: this guy really knows how to build useful tools. Shmaybe there's a job down in Texas puttin some shine on the ol' modlin Cadillac.

Yeah...i've chatted with david a few times via email. He's really a great guy by all accounts.

I mean...the guy went out and got himself an new Mac so he could start compiling his great work for us OSX LightWave users.

Now that's dedication to his craft!

David Ikeda ROCKS!!!

I couldn't agree with you more. His tools are simple yet powerful additions and sometimes replacements to the modelling workflow. They actually cut time in modelling a fair bit.:)
