Hello,
I'm reeeeeaallly new at trying make something that actually moves and
I've been following those great video's in this forum and after watching the rigging video, have a question. Maybe I missed it, but after importing a rig to a different character, how do you apply it?

I have a figure, I have the imported rig, but I can't get the rig movement to move the character.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Select object.
press shift-B or click on Bones.
press p or click on properties.
select "USE BONES FROM" and choose the layer where the bones are.

Or just replace the character with another one using object replace.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Holy cow, this is like learning a completely new piece of software.
What a monster this aspect is. Once wrong move and it's back to square one...

After going over the free demos of IK Boost Larry S. did on with Kurv Studios shown on the vfx cast site, I've gotta say it looks amazing. Not just from the rigging standpoint, but the animation stand point.
