View Full Version : Learning LW Seminar - Melbourne ... Thank you Lee
I have just attended the Lightwave seminar in Melbourne this
week and can't thank Lee (and Larry) enough for an
absolutely awesome experience. The seminar was informative,
relaxed and had heaps of fun and wit along the way.
It provided me with a lot more insight into Lightwave. Lee
showed us some great techniques and approaches and I have
learned some things in two days that I would never have
attempted otherwise.
I would recommend this to anyone using Lightwave no matter
what their capabilities are as I am sure that you will learn
something new that will save you hours of grief somewhere
down the line and make you see some things in a whole new
light. Overall the seminar is an absolute bargain and anyone
even remotely interested in Lightwave should make the time to
attend. I've only just started viewing the CD's included in the
package ( 20 hours worth of stuff ) and from what I've glimpsed
they cover an amazing amount of material. Did I mention
bargain?
Once again thank you Lee & Larry for a great experience. Can't
wait till the next time and only wish it was a longer experience. If
I had the time I'd fly down to Sydney for the seminar there :)

Same goes for the NZ event - It was a fantastic time for everyone and I've heard nothing but positive feedback from everybody here too...
Its been a great experience for everyone at this end of the planet - Thanks!
Tommorrow Lee's in Sydney - Hopefully someone will post what happened there on the forums as well...
I don't suppose he's coming to Perth?

I dont think so. The event has been advertised for several months but a lot of people didnt seem to have received the news. Im sure this isnt going to be the last tour but I think Kevin demonstrated that working thru the local user group is the way to go. The Kiwis had a great turnout. :)

So true! You need a LW-addict like me to keep reminding you all every 2-3 weeks to sign up or miss out! :D Its how I did it, constantly pushing this thing every posting I made about LWUG meetings, and inbetween as well! :)
Come on Australia! You've got movie studios, effects houses, and even 'NewMagic' which controls the whole NewTek dealership for the Australasia region (including NZ) - It seems crazy there isn't anyone who will commit to running a LWUG (or a few) in Oz, cause you're big enough to warrant having a few across the country!
Like Larry says, the events been advertised for months - But I can't believe with a country so large, so few people seemed to have known it was on!

I have just attended the Sydney leg of the Tour and would also like to thank Lee and Larry for organising the seminars.
I found it very informative, lots of hints and tips that I havent seen elsewhere and very relaxed.
Thanks again guys.

Lee takes the actual credit for organizing it. Kevin gets a huge chunk of the credit for New Zealand. I REALLY wanted to go believe me and my wife as well. Shes a Kiwi too.
Most of the material on the CDs Ill take credit for. :)

Me too! I've been there 2 times for work, but I only saw the inside of an office and a hotel room the whole time (though the hotel was on Coogee beach - Nice spot!)
Working 'travel' usually sux for siteseeing! :)
I look forward to the next tour you guys organise. Just hang around for more than two days next time 'cause I feel like we were just getting started. A three- four day event would have been even more awesome.
