You use "Spreadsheet" view if you want to see a list of all the files used in your project.
But wait - if you have any SubProjects inside your project, the Spreadsheet view will not list those files which are inside a subproject.
Now, considering the only way to lock clips together is by making them a Subproject, people often make a lot of little subprojects inside their project.
And so, the Spreadsheet view becomes very un-useful, since it will not enumerate any files which are inside a subproject.
