Well I got a scene(20 second clip) with sasquatch grass blowing in wind.

It's great, but the problem is that I need to have it loopable, I didnt see that option anywhere to set keyframes the same for frame 0 and 600(30 fps) to have the grass in the same position by that time.

A solution in my head currently sais perhaps returning wind strenght to zero for a couple of frames in the beginning and end might work and not be visible ? :)

Any suggestions from those that are more experienced with sasquatch animating ?

Back in the olden days, when LW had texture velocities, and not keyable texture position, we had to deal with stuff like this all the time. I would suggest using a displacement map (use a y axis falloff to keep the roots in the ground) but use an image map, not a procedural texture. Make a seamless texture image, and make sure to move the texture the exact size of the object over the loop period. (This will make the displacement loop seamlessly.)

To make the texture, I'd use whatever texture loaded into the texture environment on the backdrop/add environment tab. Render a grayscale image. If you have photoshop, open the image select filter/other/ offset. enter an offset of about half the image size. This will roll the edges of the image into the middle where they a really obvious. Using the cloning stamp, cover the seam. Offset the image again, and you should find the image is now seamless.

Hope this helps.
