my latest.

i dont post my pictures here often as i should.

anyway, this one is done in cooperation with a photographer, he took a picture of the chick (Swedish model, not blonde..suprisingly) and i inserted the 3d stuff.

the intention of this is to use the image for portfolio purposes when looking for customers.

the idea of the image is a machine that will get a woman ready to go out in less than 5 minutes, the robot machine will add lipstick, shoes, cut hair, do makeup, pain nails...etc etc.

I'd say make the interior of the gadget paler, at the mo you can see the matte lines.....But very nice... And the picture's good as well!

There seem to be discontinuities in the surfacing around the arch surrounding the woman, like seams.

Yes, the photo needs to be comped a little more cleanly, but I really like the images, and the idea, which is funny :D

Not quite sure why, but it feels very 1970s to me.

However I would advice you to look at the silhouettes of both images to see how they read (make background all white, hut and machine arms grey, girl black). Alot of the arms end up in the same place they start so it's very hard from the silhouettes to even tell that they extending out from the back of the hut to the front. The hairblower should probably be moved as it almost looks as it is stuck to the booth rather than floating free in space.

Second image is more dynamically posed and her pose is more interesting in that one aswell... but it seems abit off-balance and could be made more dynamic if her left leg was more centered under her body, even passing the centerline slightly, creating a nice arc.

Looks great, but I agree about the flatness, and that she's floating in the second, tho maybe the stool would be enough.

Have you thought about giving more depth by having a few of the arms and the trolley coming closer to the camera, and adding a touch of DOF ?

Perhaps motion blur on a few of the arms (or just the hands) would also help.

I'd love to see this with all the appliances converging on the booth, without intersecting its outline. And a white background :)

aaw..now you come in here with the reality lol

but its true...to get a woman ready to go in 5 minutes is impossible...they will always ask others for advice and distrusting what they hear they would ask someone else, then they have to go over the procedure of redressing and changin the make up, only to find out that the first was better...then they would redress again.

the faster this process of redressing and make up stuff can go, the more things they think they will have the time to try...so, 5 minutes is still an illusion.


hmm..perhaps they robot arms could serve men better, they could hold our beer, pizzas, tv remotecontrols..perhaps it could be programmed to shave ur regularliry and brush out teeth in the mornings.

I think the color looks a bit off and is too close to the color of her boots.

And I like how there is a little preview image on the CPU(?) case. in the second image.
