Hi,

I would like to know where I can find tutorials or examples about Jolt! tool for Lightwave 7.5. I only have the original Newtek's manual and buy any book from USA it's too expensive for me, since I live in Brazil and the taxes to import a book are very high. :(

Thanks in advance,

Keyton

Hi there! I am so sorry to have read this thread just to find out is more than an year old. If I knew it, I would have responded much earlier. Well for the ones who wanna some advice on using Jolt here it goes...

Cunhambebe: Since you are going to be using Jolt on an object, select the object, open the motion properties panel. Click on the IK and Modifiers tab. The dropdown list for adding a Modifier has the "Jolt" modifier in it.

Click on the "Create Key" button. This will create a key. Right above the "Create Key" button you will see a slider and box that says "Jolt Keys". The default is zero. This is the frame at which you want the jolt to begin. Note: Don't put in a frame that goes beyond what you have setup for LW. It's a great way to crash Layout.

Next, you want to go near the lower right of the window and enter the value for "Duration frames" This is how long the jolting will last.

As for the rest of it, I don't understand a lot of it myself. The Position and Rotation fields have to do with the amount the object can Jolt.

Or you all who are searching for help can go there...
