I have an all day project coming up next month for my as yet to be used Tricaster Broadcast. Part of the project is a live streaming broadcast. I have already tested with the CDN (internap.com) and the streaming test ran great.
But I had several power point presentations in last year's project but we recorded to tape and also sent the composite signal to the local projector for the crowd. I used an Averkey to convert the VGA signal from the power point computer to a composite signal for my switcher also running 3 cameras. What we switched on my Panasonic MX50 was what was projected and what was recorded.

This year we have a one hour segment at noon that we're going to stream. I assumed the Tricaster had a VGA input like the Averkey but I guess not. With only one Ethernet Network connection for streaming I wonder what would be the best method of connecting the power point and streaming connections to the Tricaster. I suspect a router is required but I've not done anything like this before.

Yes, a router is the answer. It works fine, with no complications.
