LW8 info for AMD Opteron

Has anyone heard info on the LW8 (64-bit) version for the Opteron-AMD? Looking to purchase a PC and have not found much info, maybe the end of the year?

i don't know iff ther will be an optimazation for the 64bit mode of the opteron, but the opteron can for sure handle it in 32bit mode.
I hope they will make some optimazation because the competitions is doing so.
