keep timeline indicator where it is

Using t[3], when I select a clip, I want the timeline location indicator bar to stay right where it happens to be at the moment. Not jump to the center of said selected clip. Not even jump to the beginning or end of the clip. Is there any way to keep it right where it is? It seems like there is a preference setting for this; I just cannot seem to find it at the moment. Thanks.

The 'Track' function is a checkbox at the bottom of VT-Edit.
In Preferences, you can choose whether Track auto-jumps to the beginning, middle, or end of the selected clip.

Uncheck it, and it'll behave as you'd expect.
