Load from scene looses move pivot point?

Just trying to confirm: when you select load object from scene the object looses any adjustments you made to the pivot position with the move pivot tool.

Anyone familiar with this and is there a workaround?

I'd search the forums but the search function seems to be broken too.

Something like this happend to me before. Try this.

Instead of loading the scene that you made the adjustments to into another, load the other scene into the one you made adjustments to.
