Is there a plugin out there that will convert curves into flat polygon strips for making polygon hair? Or anything that is like the magic bevel but flat and uniformed? Just something so it would be easier to make the polygon strips to flow in the direction I want. :)

If you're using a PC, consider Studio Hiro's Curve2Plate plug-in:

You can just do your curve, then draw a 2point poly at the end of it and make it the width you want your strip to be and then do a rail extrude. It's pretty simple that way.

That is also an option.

Nova L, if you use the above method, type "Shift-i" after extruding the 2-point polygon to Unify any redundant polygons. Extruding a 2-point polygon will create a double set of four-point polygons, with each pair of polygons sharing points. A Unify operation will get rid of the extra polygons.
