Here are my latest Character i made. I made him just for Fun in my Free Time. All down in Lightwave 3d 9.6 and Zbrush. Hair is FiberFX Plugin. Color Correction in Photoshop.

Skin is Simple Skin.

Nice render! Very well done ;).
Only the skin looks a bit to smooth. Did you use a specular map? and SSS?

Wow! this looks really great!

The hair is looking a little CG-ish still though. It almost looks too perfectly even. Kind of more like a wig rather than natural hair. I wonder if you can adjust the FFX settings to get it to look a little more realistic. Keep up the great work!! :D

This looks fantastic! Beautiful work on the wrinkles and skin tones. The fibers are a bit messy on top, but the beard is just amazing! It seems like there should be some sort of distinction between scalp, beard, eyelashes, etc in terms of thickness/spec. Are shadows turned on for the fibers?

Still looks a little CG, but very impressive nonetheless. Good to see some good work being done with Fiber FX.

how were the render times? I am having some trouble at the moment with very high FFX rendering times when used in conjunction with radiosity and simple skin im not sure which is the root of the problem. Any tips you can share?
