As i'm new to the forum, first of all let me say HIYAAAAAAAAAAAAA to everyone on the LW planet.

Now for my question???

I'm nearing completion of my Hypervoxel Corsa (sorry for the icnredibly bad joke) car model, but unfortunately surfacing for photorealism is somewhat of a mystery to me....i can do crap plastic though, so i guess its progress i.e whack up the speculars....niiice hmm.

So how do i go about gettin' those lovely slightly distorted subtle reflections, the bright speculars (like little lens flares) and the gorgeous overall sheen of the lacquered paintwork??????

Any advice would be more than welcome.

Check the car tutorial at lwg3d.org (http://www.lwg3d.org) or ask some of the car builders there as well...

Thanks, i'll check it out.

Btw, your escher-esque profile image has sent me off on a surrealist doodling craze - work colleagues be warned, no paper is safe!!!!!!
