Hi !
I would be glad to have your opinion about this Tiger VI and about the animations.
I worked on this model in Lightwave 3 days, and I made these textures in an other 3 days.
I wonder if you like it :)

Very nice motion, though the compresion is a bit high to really show it off. Love the way the men and tanks move.
Perhaps the shadows are a bit sharp on the still image?
Beautiful detail though...

6 days?? wow, i need to get busy with Lightwave!!
The light and shadow on the ground in the BG looks a bit strange.

Hello !
Until now I haven't noticed any problem with the shadow but such a lot of people can't be wrong.... :)
Thanks for the criticisms and I'm waiting for the further opinions.

Very nice model and texturing...
I only think there are too many of the spots where the paint has been removed. They are highlighting certain lines... It seems too much in certain spots...

do you have the right lengths for the tank? :) just wondering because i play bf1942 a lot so in the game the tanks width is wider i think :)

great work!
i too think that the image on the still is too sharp, and i think that radiosity and an area light with size lets say 5,5,5 or 10,10,10 would soften and blur up the shadow just right..
if radiositiy is to much of a render problem just trie the light..
hope this helps

Very inspiring! How did you do the animated treads ... with endomorphs?
Are all those animated tanks just duplicates of the high-poly original model as shown in th still? If so, what where your render times like. Have you considered using "HD Instance" or the Microwave " plug-ins?
Keep up the great work!

Hi!
" do you have the right lengths for the tank? "
my work is based on a bluePrint picture and it seemed to be such long.
" How did you do the animated treads ... with endomorphs? "
Yes , with that.
"HD Instance" or the Microwave plug-ins? "
I used none of the plugins , the crowd scene
i made with particle animation and object sequencer.
Render Time : 8 - 13 minute / Frame
AMD Barthon 2.5 + / 2400 Mhz/ :)

Somnambulance, it's not just your computer. When I try to play the videos, Windows Media Player flashes "connecting", then "error loading codec". Apparently, these videos use a codec that I don't have. Microsoft's "solution" is to lower the security level for IE ("trustworthy computing" my foot!) so the codec can be downloaded. I did so, but that didn't help. I reinstalled WMP 9.x to make sure I had the latest & greatest version, but still no go.
The stills look really great and I want to see the video clips. Any assistance is appreciated.

After having looked at it and looked at it...
I decided that even thought the model it's self looks really great.... there seems to be a 'plastic model sitting on the shelf kind of look to it.....
do me a favor and render a frame with diffrent camera lens.... say something like.... 40mm
Layout...
Camera...
properties...
Lens Focal Length....
40mm
Anyway that might give it more that big tank look....
Everything else seriously looks great!
I may send yah some email asking about texturing.....
:D
