Drivers work for other cards as well (for now)

Ok,...

I gave it a try..

Powerbook 15" 1Ghz ATI radeon 9000 64mb

Until now!! IT WORKS!!

haven't tried a lot, but before this driver, only rotating a multi layered object in Modeler made my Mac freese up..

I worked with 10.2.4 since.. now I gave it a call..

I'll keep you all posted when problems occur

I don't know of a basic configuration powerbook with a 9700...

i've only been on the mac platform for 2 months now after a 6-7 year hiatus...so i am learning all over again. :)

Ok.. Had a first crash...

Damn.. They should really fix it..

the problem occured when turning around the object in perspective view with some poly's selected.. only one layer was activated..

boy I hate that bug... the entire system freezes up, and it takes about 4 minutes to reboot...

but it is allready more stable than before.. those ati 9800 drivers do help a little bit
