Aura would do that very nicely
Or else in LW just render out a spotlight with thos very small settings for lensflare OVER BLACK background, then cut that in photoshop, and composit like previous post.
In photoshop ya can stretch, resize the flare spot to your hearts desire.

If you have DFX+ you can use the Highlight tool to get great resaults. It looks good and has minimal cheese factor to it (if done right). Highlight has a good number of options (including color control) to help you get it just right... plus it's so easy to mask out anything you don't want to have it in DFX+...

The Problem is that I don't have DFX and besides I want to have this in animation(eg car is moving and the light is also moving on it)

Troya, i'm actually trying to create a similar effect (for eveyone else, my thread is "how to surface a car????")....if you find a nice way to replicate the speculars then i'd be grateful if you could elt me know.
Cinema 4D (how dare i speak of another application:mad: ) has a built in feature that basically turns any intensely bright specular highlight or reflection into a little flare, just like in the real world.
It'd make life so much easier if LW incorporates this sort of feature.
And i've never used C4D, so i'm just repeating something i've read.
*if you cant baffle them with science, baffle then with bulls*it*
