My buddy, Rob and I are working on some Jurassic Park stuff. Here is my visitor center so far. Ive modified it a little bit from what was in the movie - such as a balcony dining area and a viewing area in the back. Im not completely sold on the furnishings I have in the back so if anybody has some good reference as to some ideas, id appreciate it.

OH and they were just some quick renders so I know that the lighting needs work for sure

it was just a quick render with a dome light. i dont usually set up final lights until i get into texturing.

its one of the lights in 9.5 your standard light is a distant. i changed it to dome and increased the light quality to 8. then upped my anti aliasing to 10 under the camera properties. OH i added a point light behind the building but i dont really know what kind of effect thats having. like i said, these were literally quick setup render just so i could post something tonight

here is an update. ive done as much modeling as im going to do for now on the visitor center. ill get some lighting fixtures and stuff a little bit down the road, but ive begun to texture. so far im not really crazy about it but thats because im not really a fan of image maps and it feels like im using a lot of them. also, i built a dinosaur last night which i think for a one night project came out nicely.

any critiques are welcome.
