I am famaliar with using bones and endomorphs and have had very little problems with these two. I am currently attempting to use these two together and they don't seem to work well.

For example, I am using the bend and twist tool inside of Modeler and creating the character so he bends and twists through an endomorph.

I am building the bones with skelegons in Modeler and converting them once they are in the animation mode. The bones are mostly in his arms and hands with two large bones in the body to keep it from being influenced by the smaller bones in the arms.

The skelegons once converted to bones in LW will not morph, however, they are morphing in Modeler as skelegons. I am guessing this is because once converted they take on their own layer. Is there a way to keep the bones together with the morph?

Two things

bones don't morph in layout, and they are only bone placeholders in modeler, not bones.

Second.. morphs don't do curvrs or twists, the points only go in a straight line from beginning spot to end spot.

What I did is in modeler in morph mode is just use the bend & twist tool on the object so I am assuming it is just recording the position of the points and morphing the positions. It works when I add morph mixer on the object in LW.

So are you saying there is no way of using bones with the morph mixer. I guess these will have to be animated separately. So I will have to choose to use one or the other.

Thanks for taking the time.

There's really no problem using the two together, but the bones themselves will not morph. Make sure your deformation order is set to 'last' (I don't think it needs to be that high, but you'll need to experiment).
If you morph the skin so far it leaves the bones behind, your bone movements will probably not work as expected, but I've never really tried it.
I always use morphs and bones together, but usually I'm morphing surface features and using the bones for the major body movements

good luck!

Ok, yeah, that is what I was afraid of. That is exactly what was happening, I was using the morphs for the major body movements and it was leaving the bones behind. I can probably go back and use bones to animate the structure of the character instead of using morphs.

Thanks for the info and appreciate your time.
