Hi People
I just wanted to see what settings people were using as far as resolutions go on the linked computer etc?
We have found the final outcome very soft sometimes which looks really bad. We also have a big black border around the edge of the output - surely it should fill the screen from the source?
Any advice or similar problems please let me know!
Thanks

I use 1024x768 on the iVGA source, since that is what is feeding the house projectors and is their native resolution. Video is slightly soft, but not objectionable for our use.
I get black wings as the projector is 4x3, and my cameras/tricaster are 16x9, but other than that the video is full screen. Check your iVGA underscan setting.
Question: I use a live set on the iVGA input for double box, can a second live set also be used for the aspect ratio conversion from 4x3 to 16x9?
I mean, can both livesets be used at the same time? Maybe feed one into the other. Currently I use the overlay input to get the iVGA full screen, but would love to have the picture streched to fill the screen.

Sure, you can chain one LiveSet into another - all you need is a 2nd TriCaster. :D

You'd need a custom LiveSet to combine the aspect stretching and double-box shot.

thanks for your reply everyone.
Just FYI: We have found using 1440 resolution the best with the underscan as its 720 doubled.
Seems quite a bit clearer to us but not all laptops can run at this. (using a dell xps)
