Something very original now, some glasses filled with some green stuff. Supposed to be photoreal, is a lighting test combined with some Photoshop post production, hehehe...

Hope you like it too

The caustics seem a bit overdone on the front two glasses and underone on the back two.

Something about the glass isn't right. I think the specular is two wide and needs to be a bit sharper.

Think you're right about all that.

Have not noticed it because I was too busy giving the scene a bit of a blurry / dreamy ambiance.

This is the rerendered one with less caustics and more tight specular hightlights.

Grtzzz...

Something still looks odd.

imho the cherry looks wierd becouse the two pieces of chery would be more apart if placed like that, and i think the glass distort the chery inside the glass becouse of refractions ...

beside that i like the pic:)

Thanx Veljko,

The cherry's weren't supposed to go in the pic, I just composited them in for fun.

But I must admit, the red color gives a bit more contrast in the picture.

Maybe I'll render one with two "real rendered" cherry's...

It's a nice pic, the colours are beautiful. Model the cherries and have them refracted by the glass :)

Maybe needs more defined shadows? Er maybe?

The green wine in the glasses definitely needs defining more, in the images the liquid looks more gaseous than liquid. The edges are to soft. Something to do with the falloff I would hazard to guess. Needs to look more like it has an edge to it.

Yeah and the stems of the glasses are a little jagged. Need to bump up the antialiasing.

Nice work though chief. Keep it up.

Oh and the cherries are a really good touch nice contrast of colour (the red and green) and gives the image a strong focal point.
