I have just finished a highlight video from a teen trip in Colorado. Just before you go getting lippy on me about being a churchy person, the video is set to Linkin Park's One Step Cloer Reanimation and features alot of ramping and NEW, sorry yes i'm excited, rotation and tumbles thanks to the spline editor. This is actually only one of MANY videos doen since getting the beta edition of VT3. As for stability, we also have been using VT3 even in beta for the live swithcing in our Auditorium for the last couple of months. Including a musical productions with integrated DVD and live camera feeds. Had the post production done in under a day including all the graphics, titles and credits. I just got the final VT3 on my desk and I am excited to install it. Oh, by the way, for those who have knocked the "Genesis" idea, Churches have been using Newtek products for some time, it is our turn to be seen. We have VT2 and were Beta testers here also, oh and we do have and still use a wonderful product called Toaster Flyer. I do not mean to sound snappy, just excited like the rest of you guys. P.S. We actually now have 2 VT3's 1 VT2 and Toaster Flyer. Good move Newtek for listening to us...

Ain't nobody gittin' lippy wit ya here cowpolk. I think there are many "churchy people" on this forum and many churches utilizing Newtek products. From what I know of the industry, churches are becoming one of the largest segments of digital AV users. I myself hope to one day be able to take what I know and apply it to ministry.

"Oh, by the way, for those who have knocked the "Genesis" idea, Churches have been using Newtek products for some time, it is our turn to be seen. "

What the heck does that mean?

Yes it is all well and good utilising modern production techniques to harness the word of the lord, but what are Newtek doing actually marketing a product specifically for christian folk? Will there be an atheist production suite for people like me?

But surely as an atheist, if you don't believe in the almighty power of the VT[3] you're not gonna buy it :D

Ah but the step outside of metaphysics is perhaps not as easy as even the atheist believes. There still tends to be a transcendental signifier to act as an orientation point. Perhaps my transcendental signifier is the toaster. The church of the atheists streamed through the toaster.
