Hi,

I'm trying to get the Get Buffer node to save some buffers, in the pixel filter. I managed it successfully in the Image filter node editor, but just copying and pasting the node to the pixel filter node editor doesn't seem to save anything. I haven't connected it to anything in the PFNE, but I didn't have to in the IFNE either for it to work. I wanted to use the PFNE as I read it gives proper/better antialiasing, is this true?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes, as said in the doc,
image saving is for Image Filter Node Editor,
it is locked in Pixel Filter Node Editor.

Ah, thanks. Does the pixel filter give better AA results then? Can I use them both together some how then?

Thanks for your help.

Last version of DP Filter PFNE has a 'MultiThread' option
for a direct Pixel Filter AA, works well in LW9.5+
and Perspective Camera, for a direct input like a procedural node,
but regarding ExtraBuffer nodes, I'm not sure you will get
better results than faked (forced) AA.

In all cases, avoid Adaptive Sampling
with ExtraBuffer nodes.

Image saving has been unlocked for Get ExtraBuffer node
in Pixel Filter node editor,
x32 update of 9 and 9.5+ DP Filter is here,
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/dpont/plugins/nodes/DP_Filter.html

Note that AntiAliasing is still 'forced' (check option in Store ExtraBuffer)
so AA is not better than one exported from IFNE.
