El pollo (chicken)

Hello everybody

I am doing a chicken in a cartoon style for a TV comercial... I have to do a Pig too, and other typical american farm animals.

I want to see other 3D arts like cartoon style animals.. to see other technicals and tips (just to compare, not for make a copy)
where can I found that materials?

Try CG Cafe or Turbosquid they might have some other farm yard animals to compare.

Are you going to do something for feathers?

Yes.. I will put some feathers (just 3) in the tail!... maybe I use motion designer to animate this feathers.. I don´t know.. what do you think?

Si bueno, el cliente no me dijo que si o que no.. pero el muñeco en 2D esta registrado con derechos de autor, el concepto y todo eso (campaña publicitaria, etc.)
Tu lo dices porque pueden robarme la idea o el concepto?
Espero que tampoco roben mi concepto de pollo 3D, aunque pollos 3D deben haber muchos.. espero que no se roben el mio en particular (si a eso te refieres)... si alguien es capas de modelarlo igualito creo que tambien es capas de hacer uno con estilo propio.
En cuanto al concepto del comercial, no voy a dar mucha información sobre el guión... solo pienso colocar los modelos que modele nada más.
Y gracias por tu respuesta Titus en el foro en español... me fue muy útil.

Well, they (my client) have a author rights of 2D chicken draws, and concepts.
I think (and hope) nobody steals my 3D characters.... :eek:
There must be many 3D chicken! don´t steals my pollo please!

una cosita, no me cae bien sus piernas. quisas debes tratar poniendo un bumpmap, en vez de las lineas.

me gustaria ver los otros animales cuando los termines.

one thing, the legs are a little weird to me, maybe you could try putting a bumpmap, instead of the stripes.
