This is actually my very first post in the LW gallery. I never posted any of my renderings in the LW gallery in the old forum, only in the Inspire gallery. So I figure I might as well finally throw something up.

Heh, but those are just parts. Yup, it's very much a WIP ;) This sucker will be cel-shaded but I'm making it extra detailed anyway. Now some people will see why I'm demanding good mech modeling tools in LW Modeler with such vigour.

And theres onthing wrong with to much detail in a cel-shaded model.

Have you seen the anime series "Gasaraki" they use some prety cool CG and their models are very well detaild. Even some of the CG in evangelion is fairly well detailed.
Also aloth its not as detaild as Gasaraki check out the new "Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex" It use of CG and 2D cel animation is amazing. Whoops the *** off the new "Macross Zero" saga.

Ahhh sorry about that i think i went of on a bit of a tangent there... ^_^

But even still if you haven't seen all of the animes i have metioned i suggest you check em.
