Hi,
I just finished rendering my project in full HD resolution and I am having difficulties to replace it in SpeedEdit. I did my project originally in half res, added audio and just do not want to everything again from a scratch.

Open a second instance of SE, start a new project with the desired settings. Go to the original instance/project, select all, copy, switch to the new instance, paste. Save :)

No elegant, but it works.

Cheers,
Mike

Here's a slightly different way to get there. You can also Start a New Project in the new resolution. Navigate to the old project file, and actually drag the .VTP file right onto the time line. It will become a Sub-Project, and then you can expand it.

This even works if the old project is SD resolution but contains HD clips. When you drag it into a new HD project, you suddenly get every drop of HD quality back.

Thanks for reminding us of that. Funny how we get so stuck in our ways we forget some of the other methods. :D
Hope all is going well in your world Adam!

Thanks Ted.
New Topic... Where's the NAB parties this year? With Quark's is gone, I guess we'll have to pick a new Wed Night haunt. Hard Rock maybe? Or some High Tech Wonderland.

In Eric Pratt's room! :D
Oh wait...he like to bunk with me. OK, Party in Ted's Room! Woooo Hoooo!

I think that's how the whole NewTek party thing started years ago. We couldn't get 300 people in my room. :D

Ahhh... maybe I double clicked. Pretty sure I did and the project went to the original VTP res.

TIA

Props to you Kilo for at least trying to use the quote function on the forum. Thank you for that.

Couple of notes to remember. To start a quote use
and to close or end the quote use
I put an extra space between the E and ] just so you could see the text without it actually commanding a quote function.

The easier thing to do is just hit the button that says Quote that I pointed out on the other thread. You can delete whatever text you don't want specifically inside but not the tags that say Quote in them.

Eric and Ted together? That is a dangerous combination.
