It would be nice to purchase an external audio mixer for the tricaster. when playing back pre-edited and mixed clips in a live edutainment school show, it's really hard to ride audio levels with a mouse.

This is already possible with the following:
Dhomas Trenn - Youngmonkey's TriCaster MIDI plugin for $150
http://www.youngmonkey.ca/hands/restaurant/plugins/MIDI-VT/index.html
Behringer BCF-2000 for around $200
http://www.behringer.com/BCF2000/index.cfm
I helped Dhomas develop the midi plugin for VT and then he ported it to the TriCaster when it came out. I love having my hands on real sliders during a show especially if you need to dump the mic inputs to play back commercials from the DDR.
We are a reseller for both dhomas's stuff and behringer. Let me know if I can help get you fixed up.
