I have a client that is requesting H.264 MP4 Wrapped at 640x480 and high band width.

I have VT5 and Pro-coder3 and don't see that codec in 640x480

Do I have to buy Quicktime Pro7 to get that option?

Well I was able to change the default size in Procoder to 640x480 but if I encode it to single pass it doesn't look very good but 2 pass is taking 7 hours to encode for a min and a half video and I have 15 clips to do so that isn't a very good solution.

Anyone have a suggestion besides buying a faster computer? Keep in mind the client requested this format because his web designer requested it.

Mencoder or ffmpeg do good multipass encoding, you do have to know what you are doing though as Quicktime is the most finnicky player in the world when it comes to h264/mp4

Well it turns out the time estimator was wrong on the software and it only took 1.5 hours to encode it at full screen resolution which is way better than 7 hours. It looks real good.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
