This is a test render of what I got so far for the character I'm designing. What do you think?

I think the mask and the eyes look great.
I am not sure about the hair, though. Did you want to give it a "Dragon Ball Super Seian" look ? In this case, the strands should stand up more and there should be less.
As it is, it makes me think of , well, a kind of plant in a pot.
These are just my comments, don't take them as sarcasm because I don't mean them as such.

Yeah, kt's sort of street fighter stylized but right now especially he looks more like a spider plant pot. The rest does look good though.
I guess the only reason I don't like the hair is I don't usually associate ninjas and hair care products.
Excuse my sarcasm as well because I think otherwise it looks good.

Hey, that's pretty cool.
Looks like a Chia Pet that grows "Dragon's Tongue". That's one of the native plants we have here, inside my head. (Not too many people know about it, so you can imagine my surprise seeing it here.)
Seriously, it is a very cool design, but the mask looks a little "thick" for my taste. Like he has either padded the mask because he doesn't fight very well, or his face is puffy and swollen, probably because he doesn't fight very well.

OK, so my actual comment is -
Cool model, looks great except that the mask looks too thick.
And the "hair" is a little... un-hair-like-looking?

I like it, but it does look a bit like a pot plant. Maybe textures will pull it off.

What are you talking about? This is a great model, and I think the finished thing would be great especially if you MD the clothes...yeah that would look sweet! :cool:

Yeah the wireframe on this character is kinda crazy. I'll post it so you could see. (Well maybe only on his legs). More to come.

i dont really like the upper body.. ( i dont know why.. just not my tast )
but the legs and feet are really great

I think the upper body is a bit small, it makes your character look like a little boy dressing up! I would just concentrate on accenting the muscle structure.

I'd have to agree with everything that has already been said. I love the lowerbody, however the upper body looks just a little miss-matched. You've got great detail on the pants, legs, and feet... however the upperbody and arms just appears to be lacking the same level of detail. Try and define the area a little more.....

I understand what you mean, but I'm not even close to finish as yet. I was planning to add more detail on the whole character. mainly the upperbody. I'm just working on multiple projects at the same time, and wanted you to see what i have so far. I'll have more updates soon.

Sorry that I took so long to put up an update. I had to leave to
go off to college. So I didn't get a chance to really work on this
character antill recently when I got settle into my dorm room. So here's an update of his upperbody. What do you thinK?

Well not that much of an update. I just added the sword. Comments PLZ. Maybe something to make the character better.

hmmm..
his boots look a little fat and his sword a bit "unhandy"
if he tries 2 run th sword would we whirling around all the time
(but so what? he can't really run with the boots, can he ^^)

All in all a very nice model

p.s. his legs could need a little training (his Thighs (hope thats the rigth word 4 it my translator isn't that good ;) ) could be thicker)

They hold the sword with one hand when they run...at least that's what they do in the movies:p

Wonderful... play around with proportions a bit and see what happens...you never know what you'll stumble into;)

Thx for the C&C. Well you should know that this character is kinda anime style, and i'm planning to make more character's
like samurai, more ninja and dark warlord. So it's kinda gonna be a while, but i'll get them all done. This is a project that i am working on. More to come soon. Well it's pretty much a short film
i'm planning to do, but I teach myself and i don't now everything about animation. Still i'm really getting to hang of it.
