EPSF loader importing :(

I've been trying to import a client's logo which was provided as an EPS file.... When I try to import it nothing seem to happen when I press ok.

I've noticed that all the tutorial refer to *.ai files (Adobe Illiustrator I think, which I don't own) which is not what I have (*.eps)...

I made sure the file was valid by sucessfully importing it into Photoshop.

I have also tried renaming the file to *.ai without luck...

You should take a look at your EPS in Illustrator or Freehand. LW will easily import EPS, but only if they are the way it expects them. Look for several critical points:

- First take a look if your EPS conatins any contours at all. There are also EPS that are rasterized.

- It should be no page EPS, only the contours needed (if not, export the contours using Export->Selected only

- Use contours/ paths and Text only. Strokes, symbols etc will not be regocnized.

- If you want a "true" AI file, use versions up to 8 only, LW will not be able to read newer Illustrator files.
