Getting preview from a PC to a Mac

Hi,

I've generated a preview on a PC that I want to keep to get to a client(w/o the render time of realistic shading)

I know that on my Macs, the preview is a Quicktime file in the Programs folder in the Lightwave directory. Does a PC do the equivalent? I there a file I can acess and move over to the mac?

I need help with this asap.

As far as i know not...but i could be wrong...

A solution might be, saving the preview (avi with no codec, so uncompressed, and open this in Quicktime and export it to a quicktime file (Quicktime Pro is needed for this, sorry)...

If you save a quicktime or avi preview on a mac without compression, there is no reason why it should not work on a pc.

If you use the animation compression setting for quicktime, that is compatible with pc quicktime as it is cross platform compatible. To make file sizes smaller, you could also reduce your monitor resolution and size down your layout window to fit the resolution.

When u make the preview, the file size shall be smaller due to the lower resolution.
