How do I use bandglue to join rows of polygons instead of columns?

If I want to remove a row of polygons I choose bandglue and it will of course remove the columns. But if I want to use bandglue to remove a column of polygons it will of course do exactly the opposite of what I intend and join a row of polygons. It doesn't matter how I select the polygons. There is no numeric panel for bandglue so...How do I trick it into thinking I want to do the opposite of what I'm not intending to do?

Just tried it myself and it seems to read my mind perfectly well ;) Are you sure you are selecting the polys correctly i.e. polys side by side for columns and polys on top of each other for rows.

Oh oops.. yea I was thinking it would work like bandsaw I should have played around with it more. I got it now thanks.
