View Full Version : When will we can see LW8 feature list and screenshots

Will be great if Newtek at least show screenshots of new painels of LW8(dynamics, IK, etc) that was show in siggraph.
Already pass 1 week and none newtek statement.

I'm with you on this one Valter.

After Siggraph I'm sure we can now be given a full list that will be included in the final release. How secrative does it need to be?

If Newtek have been working on this for a while now releaseing the information I would of thought would make no difference to competitors as by the time they get upto speed Lightwave 8 will be out:D

Perhaps they're not 100% finished with it. They were unveling 8 at Siggraph, but they never said anything about a full feature list.

umm...mr. Stranahan did has mentioned there're more features will be announced in the following week of Siggraph...so, i think they're finalizing their "Long List" of complete features on both Layout & Modeler in the next couple days...:D

He also said we would actually get our hands on it sooner than Q4...a statement which conflicts with the "official" one from NewTek.

I really hope they donīt rush this release out beacuse of impatient users and the recent announcements from....uhhh....the others.

L7.5c feels very mature and sophisticated.

As I understand it, he is a Newtek employee.

as i recalled...Lee is partially working for NT in the Marketing dept.

Lee is not a NewTek employee...He is a consultant.
