I am aware on how to use the drill tool to stencil or tunnell etc... using a flat logo and a flat object. I was using this to bevel my logo into a flat surface.
I tried doing this with a sphere and I recieved unexpected results. Is there a way to do this so that it will keep its true shape on a sphere.

Put the sphere in the background layer, make sure your text has some depth, if not then extrude it a bit, use the bend tool to curve it to about the same curve as the sphere then move it so it slightly intersects the sphere, then use the Solid Drill Stencil tool to stencil it into the sphere.
James..
PS: i'll knock up a quick screenie, gimme 5 mins :)

Thanks for leading me in the right direction, I was using the wrong drill tool, needed to use the solid drill, the other one relies on a fixes plane like x,y, and z.
Thanks again for taking the time
